If you are wondering where the name comes from, it belongs to the little love of my life, my dog Helio. "HLO" stands for Helio, and he is my ultimate daily reminder of why I love capturing the honest, beautiful details of life.

I was born and raised in a small, quiet village in Indonesia. After finishing college, I moved to the vibrant island of Bali for work. That is where I met my wonderful husband, a life changing moment that eventually brought me across the world. Now, I have been living here in the United States for six years.

If we meet in person on the streets while I am taking photos, you will notice right away that I am not originally from here! My English is still not perfect, but I am a lifelong learner and I never stop practicing to make it better. I love connecting with new people, and my camera helps me speak a universal language that everyone understands: the language of human connection.
